Roger Fry


Roger Fry was born in London in 1866 was passionate about French painting and modern art which he promoted in any way could (among many other things he taught art at the University College and was curator at the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York), was part of the Bloomsbury Group and had an affair with Vanessa Bell (Virginia Woolf's sister).
